Patient Information and Resources
How we work with our patients
From the time you schedule your appointment to the time you are discharged, we make a special effort to get to know you and your special needs.
- We handle all insurance verification and any required pre-authorizations. We also offer payment plans, if needed. Prior to your surgery/procedure, one of our rgistered nurses will call you at home to discuss theplans and to give you any special instructions.
- The day before your surgery/procedure, your anesthesiologist will call you to discuss the pain
management plan and your medical history. - We will provide you with a brochure that gives you specific instructions for the day of your procedure, describes what will happen while you are at the Center, and what to do after you are sent home.
- The day after your surgery, one of our nurses will call you at home to check in.
- Our physicians spend extra time with you both before and after your surgery to prepare and educate you.
How we work with your referring physician(s)
Communications with your referring physician are very important to us. We make every possible effort to keep them informed in a timely way about your progress.
Help for the uninsured
We are committed to the health and well-being of the residents of our community and support a financial assistance policy for low-income uninsured patients who may not be able to pay their bill.
